Ambition:

Evaluate and develop a social media strategy to deliver key business KPIs and grow a thriving digital community.

The Trauma-Informed Schools UK (TIS UK) team wanted to improve their knowledge of what social media could deliver for their business and increase the range of content for their digital community.  TIS UK wanted to understand its online community better and sought insights and recommendations to help improve the effectiveness, scope, and quality of its social media marketing.

TIS UK engaged Harissa PR to undertake a social media audit and devise a strategy.  We also provided one-to-one sessions to discuss our findings and recommendations and to workshop social media apps and content creation.

Our social media consultation began with understanding TIS UK’s business goals and reviewing its current social media strategy and output. After in-person consultations with the TIS UK team, we undertook an in-depth social media audit. We also devised a social media strategy that helped build TIS UK’s social media footprint, grow its community, enhance its brand visibility, and connect with existing and new customers.  The audit and strategy process included the following:

  • Technical walk-throughs of different channels, platforms, and apps

  • An initial audit and report of social media channels to provide a benchmark and overview of current activity.

Harissa PR provided TIS UK with an in-depth social media audit report, analysis, and a social media marketing strategy. Harissa PR also attended a post-report in-person meeting with the client to review the report in more detail and help further develop TIS UK’s social media strategy.

Harissa PR’s social media audit provided TIS UK with valuable audience insights. It deepened its understanding of its audience behaviour online, the content they like and how to convert this to sales.

We reviewed TIS UK’s existing digital marketing model. We suggested effective social media strategies to share quality content that engages audiences using relevant social media solutions tailored to TIS UK’s business needs.

TIS UK was able to reap the rewards with more followers, better community engagement, new business leads, and more efficient and creative content across its channels. TIS UK said that Harissa’s social media audit and strategy gave them “the boost to step up” their social media output “and put ideas and plans into action”. They also reported good audience growth since implementing recommendations, including 1,200 new LinkedIn followers monthly in the year’s first six months.

TIS UK also felt more encouraged to monitor audience engagement using analytic tools and to employ Harissa PR’s recommendations to improve and tailor their content to its community. They have reported increased community engagement and maintained a growth of audience and conversion to webinars and courses.
