Meet Jane Pierce
Harissa PR Founder
Harissa PR is a West Country-based communications consultancy helping businesses and brands get noticed through smart PR, communications, content and storytelling.
Founded by Jane Pierce, Harissa PR brings together 25 years of television production experience and 15 years in PR and communications. Jane has worked across major broadcasters and production companies including the BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, TwoFour, IMG and Rock Oyster Media, with credits ranging from Big Brother and The Olympics to Alison Hammond’s Florida Unpacked, The Hotel Inspector, Dubai Dishes, Raiders of the Lost Crafts and Gary Barlow’s Food & Wine Tour: New Zealand.
Alongside television, Jane has delivered PR and communications campaigns across Technology, Hospitality and Leisure, Food and Drink and Destination Tourism, working with organisations including Mayflower Marina, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Visit Plymouth, River Cottage Canteen and Deli, St Mellion Estate, Conturae, The Polish National Foundation, The Primrose Foundation, Great British Wheelchair Rugby and Pentillie Castle.
With experience on both sides of the story, Jane understands what makes something work, whether it’s for a journalist, a broadcaster, a social audience or a potential customer. She combines strategic thinking with creative ideas and practical delivery, helping clients find the right story, reach the right people and make an impact.
